We did a setup for the Hollywood Casino in Joliet for a 2-day job fair they were having for new casino floor workers. They were holding the interviews in their buffet and wanted to control the foot traffic in the space from the entrance to the interview area. Our solution not only did that, but also hid a lot of clutter in the space which gave the whole experience a more professional feel.
Here is the buffet before we did the draping. Pretty wide open space, lots of clutter. Our goal here is foot traffic management as well as hiding the clutter to make the whole room look more professional.
Once we determine the path of the draping we set up all the pipe framing before hanging any drape.
This is the view of our pipe setup from the other end of the room. We will confirm the final pipe setup with the client BEFORE hanging the drape. This allows for easier last minute changes in our design if needed.
The draping is extended to 12-feet high and finishing touches are done to make it look perfect.
We've draped both sides of the room to create an aisle for the applicants to walk down in order to get to the interview area.
Looking at this from the other end of the room, we are in the area where they have seating for the applicants while they wait for their interview.
Notice how we use draping to hide the buffet area from the sitting area and also along the walkway the applicants take to get to that area. It makes for a very nice and clean look.
Using drape to make this aisle made the whole space look so much more polished and hid all the clutter they had on either side of the draping. And at 12-feet high it gives the space an air of authority as well.
Looking at the aisle from the applicant seating area. Once again you can see how 12-foot draping can add some dramatic flair to any event space.
Here's a walk down the aisle after all the pipe has been installed but BEFORE the draping is hung. We always confirm with our client that they are happy with the setup BEFORE we hang the draping. Adjustments are so much easier to make when it's only the pipe framework.
And now here's the same walk but AFTER the draping is hung. What a huge difference! It looks so much better, it guides the applicants through the space, and it hides the clutter from the rest of the room.
